Is there anywhere that lists the sites, ports, IPs that are required for the sign in to desktop procedure?
Hey @waldrs
Welcome to the Postman Community!
You generally shouldnāt need anything to be able to sign in to the Client. There are occasion where we have see folks who are not specific company or private networks that have certain issues though.
More information can be found here:
Could you share more about the issues or any errors that youāre seeing when signing in, please?
Thanks Danny,
this is on a secure server and I need to sign in to be able to load the collection that Iāve been given.
Without more contextual details or errors about what you can see, when you try and sign in using your Postman account, itās going to be difficult to provide assistance here.
You have helped already. I now have the information that network team have requested.
Iāve managed to log into the browser now, but it wouldnāt redirect back to the desktop. I get the following error when I try to log in with the authorization token:
The renderer.auth log contains: āAuthentication~handleAuthorizationResponse: Failed to handle authorization response - We were unable to execute JavaScript in webview.ā,{ānameā:āErrorā,āmessageā:āError invoking remote method āGUEST_VIEW_MANAGER_CALLā: Error: Script failed to execute, this normally means an error was thrown. Check the renderer console for the error.ā,āstackā:āError: Error invoking remote method āGUEST_VIEW_MANAGER_CALLā: Error: Script failed to execute, this normally means an error was thrown. Check the renderer console for the error.\n at IpcRendererInternal.invoke (node:electron/js2c/renderer_init:2:11342)ā}
