Troubleshooting Collection Sync Problems

I can enter information (edit the description of collection) on either of two systems and it does appear on my other system. However; on system A the collection has seven entries and on system B it only has four out of date entries. I have completely removed the application and reinstalled it to no avail. (A strong statement about snap installing the deprecated version would have helped)
Any hints or ideas are appreciated
