I am writing unto you because I struggle often to set up the postman desktop app on Linux in general.
According to the repository where the package is located, the outcome may not be the same.
On Ubuntu, when I am inside the home directory particularly in /Home/Downloads, there is no issue to set up the application.
Outside the /home repository I am unable to set it up. May you help ?

hy u can install it in linux using snap
just run this command
sudo snap install postman
That’s it!
Once installed, you can launch it with:
postman

It seems to operate. Sometimes I struggle with network issues even though I am using a secure network. For now, it is fine for me. I will let you know if there is a regression. I believe there is also a snap version for Redhat or Centos.
