Could not open Postman - Internal Error opening backing store for indexedDB.open

I am unable to open the app. Each time I try I get the below error and I have tried all the troubleshooting steps.

Postman open error

I am installing on a Windows 10 Enterprise virtual machine on Citrix VDI. I have full admin rights on this machine and I’ve been able to install other applications.
Operating System

I have tried both the latest 32bit and 64bit installs from Download Postman | Get Started for Free with the same error.

I have tried uninstalling the app with Windows Add/Remove and I’ve deleted the Postman folders below and tried re-installing. I haven’t ever had the Chrome app.

C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Postman and
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Postman

My C:\ Drive I’m installing onto has >40Gbs of space available.

I tried ending all Postman processes and then trying to run from Command prompt. Below is my command and the results. I got the same error above.

Hey @johnfofx  Welcome to the Postman Community :tada:

Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with installing the desktop app on your virtual machine.
If possible, would you please try installing the app directly on the same device instead of virtual machine so that we can validate if this is due to virtual machine or not?

Also, could you please submit a request from the following link so that we can assist further?
https://support.postman.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Thanks again for reaching out! Looking forward to hearing back from you :slightly_smiling_face:
