Can't start app on linux mint

OS: Linux Mint 21.3 Cinnamon

Having issues getting the Postman Application running on this new linux mint install.
On first attempt I used the Software Manager to perform the install. It appeared to install just fine without error, but upon running I get the initial login challenge, I enter my credentials, a console window comes up for a second and quickly closes… no application is started. I’m back at the login screen and I can only use the web based version.
I deleted this first attempt and performed the install using apt package manager and the results were exactly the same.

Any ideas on how to debug the issue(s) ?

Same here. Linux Mint 21.3 Virginia.

I also tried installing with the Snap package manager instead of using Mint’s default flatpack.

I haven’t used Mint for a while, but when I installed Postman the last time, it put everything in a single folder and you just run the executable from there.

It’s a fairly straight forward install. Pretty sure this wasn’t via Snap though.

It will be trying to open your default browser to authenticate.
