I’m using Windows 11. I already have Private Networks checked, but I don’t even see why Postman needs firewall exceptions. Can someone tell me?
I don’t want to give it public access if I don’t have to, and I don’t know why it asks for it.
I’m using version 11.18.0
Note that I sometimes need to connect to an intranet IP, either locally or through VPN. I read that I probably need at least Private networks checked, but getting a Windows Firewall vague pop-up at app startup is not the way to be telling me that something I’m doing needs the exception.
If Postman needs the Firewall exception for something I’m currently doing, then it would make sense to show me that and why.
If it’s just using something for some reason in the background, then it needs to tell me what it’s doing.
