What’s new in Postman 7.33?

Good morning/afternoon/evening!

Word on the street is that Postman 7.33 is out… other word is that it comes with a couple of very useful features! Keep reading to learn more about it or try it out directly by updating your app or downloading the latest version.

Watch an API for changes

When working in a team setting, knowing when something is changed becomes very important. Especially when this is your single source of truth! Up until now, you were able to see changes made by collaborators on an API schema using the changelog, while useful it still required user action to check if anything had changed.
With 7.33 we’re introducing the ability to Watch an API schema in order to get notified (by email, or with in-app notifications) whenever someone updates, comments, or links a new API element to an API.

To start watching an API, open it from the APIs tab, then click Watch in the top-right corner. You’ll also see how many people are already watching this API.

And… that’s it! You’ll now get a notification whenever someone touches this API. :slightly_smiling_face:

You can learn more about this feature on the Postman Learning Center. :books:

Import API schemas from GitHub

Bulk import directly from GitHub? Yes please!
If you’re using GitHub as a repository for all your API schemas, you’ll be pleased to hear that from today you can import directly from there. To access this feature, click Import, then head to the Code Repository tab.

Once again, more info about this in the Learning Center. :slightly_smiling_face:

That’s it for the highlights! If you’d like to see the complete list of improvements and bug fixes that were part of this release, check out the full release notes.

Don’t forget to download the latest app, and let us know if you have any feedback!
