Is there a way to prevent postman from automatically starting after it’s installation?

Welcome to Postman Discourse community!

This seems to be a personal setting on your computer and to resolve it, please follow the steps outlined below:

For Mac OS

  1. Open System Preferences.
  2. Go to Users & Groups.
  3. Choose your nickname on the left.
  4. Choose Login items tab.
  5. Check startup programs you want to remove which should be Postman
  6. Press the “–” sign below.
  7. You’re done.

For Windows

  • Select the Start button, then select Settings > Apps > Startup . Make sure any app you want to run at startup is turned On .
  • If you don’t see the Startup option in Settings , right-click the Start button, select Task Manager , then select the Startup tab. (If you don’t see the Startup tab, select More details .) Select the app you want to change, then select Enable to run it at startup or Disable so it doesn’t run.

To clarify, my question was to find a way to prevent postman from starting after it’s installation. Not when Windows starts up.
