Which version of Postman? (Desktop, Browser etc.)
Can you check if you have a lot of history saved in the app? (in the History sidebar)

Yes, same issue here… using Postman desktop, REALLY slow since I updated to Windows 11, I tried updating to the latest version but it’s still the same :frowning:

Hi, I’m getting the same issue with the Windows 11 desktop app.
The app takes long to open for the first time (about a minute); after that, closing and re-opening is quick. Updated to latest version yesterday, and it didn’t fix the issue when I opened the app this morning.

I don’t know if this is only Windows 11 related, because I’m having problems that sound similar as the problems in this thread with windows 10 too.

It works fine for a minute after opening and after the minute the app freezes but doesn’t say it’s not responding. When I try to open task manager, the task manager is not responding. Luckily I can close postman from the X on the upper right corner. After closing the app, task manager starts to work normally.

I was running old version of postman, but now I got it updated and the problem still continues. I also uninstalled the app and reinstalled with the newest version I downloaded today from postman website, but still after about one minute of usage the app freezes completely.

Came here because I had the same issue. In my case, I was able to solve it by disabling Hardware Acceleration: Setting up Postman | Postman Learning Center

Hi, I’m also having this issue and it is really painful when I try to demo my API in a video chat.

After a fresh Windows boot it takes 2-3 minutes to see Postman window. Subsequent starts are almost immediate. I disabled HW acceleration, and deleted the cache, but no success.

PM Version: 9.19.3
Windows 11: 2200.675, x64
HW: i9 12900H, 32GB

I have same issue, i deleted and download and installed again but , it is very very slow. Even it is not useable.

My Postman is quite slow. Clicking tabs and changing to different tests takes close to a minute to open. I followed some instructions i read in the thread to go to
View-Developer tools…and this is the report. Could you please advice.

any new update on this issue? I have the same problem.
I takes 2 full minutes to open the app (blank screen) and +40 seconds to load the interface. From that point the app works normal.
Version: Postman for Window 10.19.7
OS: Windows 11 Pro 22H2 22621.2428
Proc: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X
RAM: 64GB
Also tried with POSTMAN_DISABLE_GPU=true in system environment, delete cache, reinstall app and it had no effect.
From what i see in the application log, is that it take a lot of time between this points:

i can provide more logs if needed.
