Postman freezes mouse cursor (Logitech)

So i have this problem with Postman that every time i go to use it it freezes my mouse cursor to the point where i have to unplug and replug it and then it’s fine. I noticed it will respond after a 30-40 second wait.

If i go back to postman there’s a chance it freezes it again, and repeat all day.

Anyone came across or somehow just me?? It’s super frustrating and i want to figure out the issue. Only happens with this app and happens like 90% of the time i open it or interact with the window.

I am on Windows 10 build 1909 (18363.1316) x64
Postman version 8.0.6 (literally froze my mouse just trying to find this!)
Mouse is LogitechG502 wired

I had this same thing start happening with a recent version of Postman in January 2024. None of the accepted solutions worked - clearing history, clearing cache, sign out / sign in, uninstall / reinstall.

Long story short, I’m now using the Visual Studio Code extension instead of the Desktop app.

Hey @buddy-zapata

Can you raise this as an issue on our Github public tracker, please:

It’s the easiest and quickest method of getting it in front of the team and saves it from being lost in amongst the other forum threads.

I probably can, but what is “public tracker”?

It’s the public repository where we track all the issues (Bugs and Feature Requests) related to the Postman platform.

The link I added, is the direct link to the Bug Report form on Github.

The 2 quick link icons in the header bar of the forum will also get you to the same location on Github.

Looks like someone already opened a similar bug ticket with more info about GPU

Hi i have got the same issue recently, i am build February 2024 (v10.23)

Got the exact same issue! Really bizarre as why is Postman fooling with my mouse to begin with??

Hello! As you may have seen on the GitHub thread, the issue occurs for few users on enabling hardware acceleration. Could you try to disable hardware acceleration to see if that helps you in any way?

Hardware acceleration is not enabled on my laptop so I cannot disable it.
