🚨 Important Announcement: Badge Submissions Have Ended

Hey Community ,

For the past few years, we have offered a variety of public courses and challenges to help users enhance their skills and gain in-depth knowledge of the Postman platform.

These courses and challenges will continue to be available for free to everyone, but starting today (yesterday actually), we will be retiring the badge awarding system for successful completion.

We announced the upcoming changes in early June, we wanted to ensure everyone had ample time to begin or finish any ongoing courses. We hope you took advantage of this opportunity to earn your badges.

To date, we have awarded over 4,000 badges, recognizing the dedication and hard work of our community members. More importantly, these courses have enabled us to educate thousands about the incredible features of the Postman platform and the many ways they can be utilized.

We will keep offering assistance and support for the existing courses on this Community Forum through the :weight_lifting_man:Training category. Our goal is to ensure that everyone receives the help they need to successfully complete their courses.

We are developing new training programs over on the Postman Academy. These upcoming courses will offer you fresh opportunities to expand your Postman knowledge and skills but most importantly….claim a new badge! :medal_sports:

Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm for learning. If you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to reach out.

Hey @letlazykoalacook

Welcome to the Postman Community! :postman:

The deadline for submissions was set on June 4th, allowing everyone more than enough time to complete their challenges. The Workspace displayed the deadline message for nearly 2 months and it was also added to a number of different visible areas.

The badge submissions has now passed but that is not the important part of the training. Over the course of the challenges you have not only gained new skills and knowledge about the Postman platform, you have built up a Workspace that can be continually used and referenced.

This course by @vdespa is still available and a badge can be obtained by completing this training.

I started this challenge after completing the Postman fundamental API(Starting of july) .When this course was recommended to me it clearly stated “Earn a badge to showcase in your social media profile”. It clearly states that things are uneven in either end.

When you opened the Workspace, from where you would have forked the challenge Collections each day, there was a large announcement message at the top of the description.

The main training objectives have been met throughout the course with the self evaluations after every task and now you have a complete Workspace to showcase your new skills.

The submission for the badges has now ended and there will be no further awards for those particular courses. However, there will be new courses in the future where you can obtain new badges.

I’ve finished * 30 Days of Postman today! I never knew badge submission was planned to close on August 1st, considering I received the original letter for this challenge only on July 22. How it could be??? I wanted this badge so much. :sob::sob::sob::sob:
