Hi all,
Struggling to sign in via VS Code today, always been fine previously.
I click on sign in from inside VS Code, it opens the browser as usual but it takes me to identity.eu (I’m in the UK) and when I sign in via Google it gives me an error page
If I take out the eu part from the URL I can login fine via Google but it doesn’t give me the token to paste in to VS Code.
I could obviously create a new account but I have saved collections etc so I don’t want to start a new one.
Any idea why I get this error?
Cheers
Steve
Typically I found the solution shortly after posting this.
In file > preferences > extensions > Postman
There’s a setting for Region which was set to EU.
Changed this back to US even though I’m in the EU and it worked fine.
Assume some recent update has made this change, but changing it back to the US which should be the default fixes my login issue.
Apologies for late response here - Glad to see you got this sorted!!
Since you’re using the Postman VS Code extension, you might find the new .env file import feature particularly useful!
It allows you to seamlessly transform your local environment variables into Postman environments, saving time and reducing errors.
How do you currently keep your Postman environments in sync with your local .env files, and how do you see this new feature fitting into your workflow?
