Cannot Select a file to POST

Hi, I’ve seen many topics on a similar theme, but none of them seem to address my situation.

OS: Mac OS Sonoma 14.7.5
Postman Version: Version 11.61.2
UI Version: 11.61.2-ui-250902-1000
Desktop Platform Version: 11.60.4 (11.60.4)

I have an API request defined using form-data, and one of the fields named file is of type file. When I select a file from my computer nothing happens. So, I see the dialog box to pick the file, but then it does not get added to the request.

This was working perfectly, but suddenly it is not.

I have checked the working directory, though I have never needed to select files from there, and even if I do it doesn’t work. I have the ‘Read files outside working directory’ enabled.

As I say this has suddenly stopped working and I cannot figure out why, or how to fix it.

Can anyone help me out please?

if you try with guest user you can able to upload the file .

I’m not sure I understand what you mean by this

i mean that not logged in user can able to upload the form-data

i think it is because of the versioning 11.61.2

I see what you mean, and yes that does seem to allow for the file to be added to the form-data.

The trouble is I then don’t have all my saved collections and environments.

I wonder if there is an actual fix available for this?
