What’s coming to Postman in March

Hi everyone,

API work keeps getting more collaborative, more automated, and more connected to production. In March, we’re introducing new Postman capabilities to better support how developers and teams work today.

At a high level, here’s what’s coming to Postman:

  • Local file system, git-based collaboration, and AI prompt-driven development
  • A refreshed UI with a more integrated development experience including built in tools that reduce context switching during everyday API work
  • Stronger support for API first development and testing, including local, CI, and dependency isolated workflows
  • Broader protocol support in the Postman app so so teams can design and test APIs and messaging protocols in one place
  • A new API catalog that brings together specs, collections, testing, and CI activity

These updates are designed to help individual developers move faster, teams collaborate more easily, and organizations operate APIs with more confidence as things scale.

Separately, we’re also updating Postman’s pricing and packaging starting March 1, 2026. The upcoming changes simplify plans, consolidate commonly used capabilities, and make it easier to understand what’s included as your usage grows.
