Thinking about security, is there a difference between using the Postaman app installed on the machine or using the web via browser ?
Short answer is “yes”.
The desktop application runs from your device and therefore can access local network resources like local host.
The web version runs from the Postman Cloud and generally can’t access local resources unless you have the Enterprise subscription with a static IP.
