Unfortunately, creating root-level folders in the Flows Home to organize flows appears to be a current limitation in the Postman Flows UI.
- Subfolder workaround — If you have an existing root-level folder from before the 12.0 release, you could create a subfolder inside it as a workaround but this would require me changing my structure to accomodate a bug
Also everytime I open a flow my connections dissappear, this happens everytime I reopen postman. I have caught onto this and I restore the last clone everytime I use a flow but this is very inconvenient.

Thanks for sharing this. We’re aware of this limitation/change. There is a workaround if you’re using local git integration where you can create a file on disk and it will reflect in the sidebar on push. But we’re looking for a better long term solution that fits with the overall v12 sidebar UX.
Can you check if you’re on the latest version of the app? We did fix a bug with this last week.
I am on version 12.1.0
It used to be much worse. It used to happen multiple times while just using the application. Now it just happens the first time I open the flow.
Hi David. Are you collaborating on this flow with anyone else? Can you make sure everyone you’re working with has upgraded to the latest app version?
If you’re still experiencing a problem, please submit a help ticket here and we’ll be happy to investigate with you further: https://support.postman.com/hc/en-us/requests/new . Thanks
