We’ve been running our weekly mini challenges here in the Community for a while now, and we’d love to hear how it’s been landing for you. Whether you’ve taken part once, a few times, every week, or just followed along without posting, your perspective really matters.
We want to make sure the challenges are interesting, rewarding, and genuinely worth your time, so we’re opening up the feedback loop and inviting your honest thoughts on what’s working well and what could be better.
If you’re happy to share, we’d love to hear your thoughts on:
What originally encouraged you to take part in the challenges?
How do you feel about the types of questions we’ve been asking?
Do the prizes influence your motivation to participate? Would different rewards be more appealing?
Is there anything about the format, timing, or overall experience that could be improved?
What would make you more likely to join in more often?
There are no right or wrong answers, we’re genuinely looking to learn and improve.
Feel free to reply in the thread, and if you’d rather share feedback privately or jump on a short call, just let us know.
I joined because the challenges felt practical and low-pressure. The questions are relevant and make you think without being overwhelming. Prizes are a nice bonus, but the learning and community recognition matter more. Short, consistent challenges with real-world scenarios would make it even better
I’ll start with some context: I actually only recently discovered the Postman Community, which is probably the main reason I haven’t participated much yet. That said, I’m really glad I found it and I’m looking forward to being more involved going forward.
As a Postman community newbie, the challenges are a great way to get started and train that muscle. I’m much more active in other communities and this would help me form a habit.
It’s a bit too early for me to tell.
Prizes are nice to have, but not a primary driver for me. Learning something new, seeing how others think, and getting inspired by clever solutions is much more motivating than swag (Postman swag is very cool, but not my primary objective).
Weekly feels reasonable. One thing that might help is making it very clear that it’s okay to jump in late or participate lightly - that lowers the barrier for newer folks.
I’d need to get notifications working properly, and have a non-hectic week.
Happy to share more feedback as I gather more mileage with the community.
