[Git workspaces] Unable to save authorizations - Feb 2026 update

Good morning, after updating to Postman 12.0.1 I tried to create a new git workspace and configure an authorization.

After filling all fields and clicking “Save” the following error appeared within “Diagnostics” tab

This is the .yaml automatically generated

$kind: collection
name: New Collection
auth:
  - id: ce48d730-39d1-46f9-b219-d6e0407463c8
    type: oauth2
    name: OAuth 2.0

I tried configuring an “Authorization” with a normal workspace and everything works with no errors.

I’ve been able the replicate this in my instance and I’ve reached out to the team to get more information.

I saw that the Git issue I opened was assigned yesterday. Could you please share an ETA for the fix? Thanks in advance :slightly_smiling_face:

In the meantime, any workaround would be very helpful.
