Hello,
I have a group of collections and environments setup in a git repo. When I add a new workspace and link it to that repos directory the collections dont seem to populate in the collection tab. Everything seems to be working fine with the environments as they appear upon creation of the workspace.
If I create a new collection it seems to scan the directory and then the existing configured collections appear
I cant upload a screen recording but
Currently running version 12.5.5 and ui version 12.5.5-ui-260409-0231.

Welcome to the Postman Community! 
Without the full app screenshots it’s a little tricky to know/see which mode (Local/Cloud) you are in for each of the stages you shared.
Do you have any issues showing on the bottom menu bar?
I didnt even notice that yes. It seems the workspace id is being cleared when I create the new workspace and thus giving “Invalid resources.yaml: workspace.id must not be empty” deleting that file and recreating the workspace seems to fix it.

One follow up question for you around environments. The environments I have configured seem to be imported correctly as I can see them in the side bar but I they are not appearing when I go to select the environments

Interesting. Are those files in the postman/environments directory or outside it?
