Hey @ticachen :waving_hand:

Welcome to the Postman Community! :postman:

As this is related to Android devices and it’s working in Postman and from your computer, there’s not a lot that we can do from our end.

I wouldn’t even know where to begin with what might be wrong with that device configs, maybe someone in the community has knowledge of that area.

@ticachen did you figure out the issue? We started experiencing the same issue yesterday across both iOS & Android.

No. But apparently the service recovered today, still don’t know what the issue was though

It’s not about the device. It’s something to do with the mock.pstmn.io domain because we tried ping the ip directly it worked.

This happened again since yesterday. The mock server still can not be reached from any android devices since yesterday.
I tried to ping the url on my computer it works but when pinging it on android devices it fails.
We tried different android devices on different physical locations and different networks, so it’s not device’s issue

This is my mock url https://1ddeb5a7-a8b4-4e33-b647-14658660298b.mock.pstmn.io

Hi,

We have same problem. 5 days ago it was work perfectly but at friday broken postman mock server when we use at Android project. We tried different devices and android versions but it didn’t work and we get suddenly error.

We have above problem;

java.net.UnknownHostException: Unable to resolve host “2b31d007-b018-4338-a35f-9e2cd6e925bf.mock.pstmn.io”: No address associated with hostname (Ask Gemini)

I’ve been experiencing the same issue since yesterday. Both my existing and newly created mock services have stopped resolving in my Android app.

My mock url works fine in my desktop and mobile browsers, and I can ping it from the host machine. However, it fails to resolve within the Android emulator (adb shell) and the app itself, resulting in:
HTTP FAILED: java.net.UnknownHostException: Unable to resolve host "039f01b3-b086-4495-a0e6-597691e10e65.mock.pstmn.io": No address associated with hostname

Sadly I’ve the same problem

Same here, the issue is back for us too.

We’re aware of this issue where calls from Android devices are not reaching Postman mock servers. The problem is specific to the Android environments. Our team is actively investigating the root cause and exploring potential solutions on our end. We will share updates as soon as we have more information.

It seems to be working now for me!
