Webhook payload using echo function then storing the data as collection variable

Hi everyone,
so i triggered the postman webhook from some application and i am receiving the data as payload in postman, everything is working fine but here is the issue, i want to save the data received from the payload using previousRequest and WebhookData and store it in the collection variable or the global variable but i tried everything using pre request script like using pre request script is the only option
Let me know if there is any solution thanks
