Unable to load workspaces as you're offline error. Can't start a Workspaces

@vpprince , let me share my own experience with this problem: I updated to the latest version of Postman and had the same issue. Postman now defaults to keeping collections in the cloud, and my employer runs a virtual firewall on my machine that blocks Postman’s request to get those collections.
I found that if I turned that firewall off, Postman works as expected. We tried whitelisting the Postman domains, but that did not prove helpful to me. It may work for you.

Hi, I am facing the same issue. my postman was working yesterday as expected and now i am facing this issue. An update dialog option is coming but it is neither updating nor i am able get my workspace since it is telling I am offline

Hi there, I am getting the same message saying “Unable to load workspaces as you’re offline”. I can’t open up a workspace. I have just installed the latest version of postman.

i’m also seeing the same since its been upgraded to 8.7.0

Okay, weirdly I’ve had the same thing since the upgrade…
Since the web version was suggested, I tried that - then the Application signed itself in! So not sure if they’re doing this to “encourage” us onto the Web Version, but my experience was :

Try and load Postman Applicaton, get “unable to load…offline…” error.
Sign into Web Postman https://web.postman.co/
Go back into Postman Application, which has decided it’s not offline now.

I am experiencing the issue right now, but I am not offline at all! I can’t access my workspaces :frowning:

Same here. This is so frustrating… I like the new features of v8. But this version is such a pain in the a**. When you need it badly it lets you down.

Same for me, execept the web portal is also not working

Already tried to sign out, cleaned cookies & web data related to Postman.

Why its trying to connect to this url: http://localhost:10533/knockknock

Postman desktop has been updated to the latest version, V8.8.0 and now it says “Unable to load data as you’re offline”.

Same here, yesterday it worked just fine. Web version is not loading as well.

Any updates from devs?
https://status.postman.com/ shows that all systems are operational, but both desktop (win10) and web (chrome) are not working for me.

It’s now (at least) the second time that this happens - why do i have to be connected to the Postman Cloud to work with my collections. :unamused:

I’ve connected on web client and there it loads all my workspaces.

Same problem here - why the h… is a cloud connection needed to work in Postman? It just doesn’t make sense. It hasn’t saved the work I did yesterday to the cloud anyways, so I guess it’s only saved locally - but that is not available to work on when services are offline?
