Today I can not import collection in json into postman. I tried on Windows app and on web app. I always get error “Failed to import collection CollectionNamexyz”. It is the same on my and on my coworker computer. I can not find the reason why this error happens. Till today importing collections always worked.

this also happening to me and my all coworkers. my postman app version is also 11.23.1 and i also tested older version (11.19.0) but it’s same, nothing changed. (still cannot import Collection)
plus, i digged in my postman app log and found this error message keep being repeated.
(and that’s the only text i can recognize in numerous texts of logs)

so please consider and deliever this problem to team in charge.
in our company, which uses mainly importing Collection file(json) for handing over files between people, this is very serious problem to have a bad influence for work.

I did some manual trial and error and saw that collections with 20 or more API Endpoints failed to import. If that helps

We’ve been able to replicate the import issue, it’s currently not impacting all users. We’ll continue to investigate this and get to the root cause of the problem.

Same for me. Using Postman v11.23.1 from MacBook
Observed this error from today(17/12/2024) onwards. Many of my colleagues are also reporting same issue

I am also experiencing this, I even tried with swaggers official pet store api example. (“https://petstore3.swagger.io/api/v3/openapi.json”).
Is also not possible to save colection variables: “Something went wrong while saving the collection.”
Same issue here, thanks for investigating and trying to fix this issue. We just don’t test today, I guess

Really appreciate your patience here - we have applied a fix and can see that the Collections and APIs are not correct importing.
