Unable to complete final submission in Student Expert course due to repeated 504 Gateway Timeout errors

Hi Team,
I have completed all the required requests and passed all test cases for the Postman Student Expert challenge. However, when I attempt to do the Final Submit, I encounter the following issue

  1. 504 Gateway Timeout response when trying to hit some endpoints.
  2. {"message": "Network error communicating with endpoint"}

:white_check_mark: What I’ve already done:

  • Verified and used the correct {{baseUrl}} (mock server URL provided).
  • Ensured all requests are sending to the correct paths (e.g., /books, /books/:id, etc.)
  • Retried multiple times with a stable internet connection and passed halfway and full way test with all test cases.

:sos_button: Request for help:

  • Can you confirm if the mock server or challenge endpoint is down or having issues?
  • Is there any workaround or alternate submission method if this persists?
  • I am currently enrolled in Gssoc 25 and completing this challenge will add 20 points to my badge, i had completed this course 2 times but since gssoc started after 21july and i got certified on 10 july, it is not acceptable, so its humble and kind request for postman to look into this issue and help me out
  • Thanks a lot for looking into my request, by a postman lover
  • Just below i am attaching the photo of it for better understanding and looking forward for suggestion to solve it

Hey folks,

This is impacting everyone who is trying to submit their solutions using the /submit endpoint, it’s not limited to only certain individuals.

We’re looking at this now and we’ll share any new information once we have more details.

We appreciate your patience here. :folded_hands:t2:

Thanks a lot for reply and solving my query, sure would love to hear about it :beating_heart:

Hello everyone

I was getting the same error, but I recently resubmitted the request and it passed successfully. I’ve now obtained my certification.

Apparently, the error has been fixed
