I am using the Postman client v11.57.1. I have “Always open sidebar item in new tab” disabled but it doesn’t seem to be working. I really only want one or two tabs open at any time. I would prefer to have to request a sidebar item be opened in a new tab. I use auto-save so I really don’t need to keep a request open after navigating away from it. After working for an hour or two, I end up with so many tabs open I can’t see their titles any way. Is there any way to just disable tabbing all together? I would prefer no tabs over to many.

There is a slightly different option but it’s only for the web platform. You can “remove” tabs…sort of.

i am not sure how others using postman, i never need to open two tabs at the same time, besides it’s not that i can compare them side by side. If you really want to do two tabs, you should support split screen, that might make more sense.
