Bienvenue sur le nouveau site de la communauté Postman ! Je suis Abhinav, fondateur, PDG et créateur original de Postman. Postman est désormais géré par une équipe formidable répartie sur deux bureaux : Bangalore et San Francisco.

Postman a connu une croissance fulgurante en très peu de temps, avec plus de 4 millions d’utilisateurs à travers le monde. Nous avons réalisé qu’il existait une vaste communauté qui gagnerait à interagir, en ligne comme hors ligne.

Nous sommes convaincus que de nombreux passionnés de Postman souhaitent partager leurs connaissances et aider les autres. Avec ce forum, nous souhaitons encourager les liens entre les membres de la communauté. Nous souhaitons que les échanges soient fluides et structurés afin que personne ne se perde.

Nous utilisons Slack pour gérer cela, mais malheureusement, il n’est pas évolutif. Bien que Slack soit idéal pour la collaboration interne en équipe (nous sommes des clients payants), il n’est pas conçu pour les communautés. La messagerie se perd rapidement dans un flux en temps réel. Il n’y a aucun contexte pour les discussions. Nous avons constaté que des questions restaient sans réponse ou étaient posées à maintes reprises. Nous perdions le savoir collectif de la communauté. Je me souviens d’avoir utilisé des forums bien avant l’apparition de Facebook et Twitter. C’était très amusant et j’ai noué des relations vraiment formidables, dont certaines perdurent encore aujourd’hui. J’espère que cela vous aidera à en construire d’autres.

Démarrer ici est très simple grâce à l’intégration avec votre compte Postman. Connectez-vous avec votre compte Postman en haut à droite sans attendre une invitation Slack.

I joined last week when I was looking for RSA encryption support in “newman”.

I replied to the welcome message and Danny replied the following day with a suggestion to use Postman CLI. I will try this and move ahead with some of our other Postman maintenance.

We have 60+ Postman collections that need to be updated to our evolving collection standards. With the help of Grok and this community I hope to tackle these updates quickly. I’ll try to post my findings when I can.

I’m looking forward to being a part of this community.

man is now built by an amazing team spread across two offices - Bangalore and San Francisco.

Postman has grown like crazy in a very short time with more than 4 million users across the globe. We realized that there is a huge community out there that will benefit from interacting with each other - both offline and online.

We believe there are many Postman enthusiasts out there who want to share their knowledge and help others. With this forum, we want to encourage connections between community members. We want conversation to flow freely while also being structured so that nobody gets lost.

We have been using Slack for managing this but unfortunately it doesn’t scale well. While Slack is great for internal team collaboration - we are paying customers - it is not designed for communities. Messaging gets quickly lost in a real-time stream. There is no context for discussions. We saw questions were left unanswered or asked over and over again. We were losing the collective knowledge of the community. I remember using forums much before Facebook and Twitter evolved. It was a lot of fun and I built some really amazing relationships - some of which last to this day. I hope that this helps you buil

Hi all from Kansas City, MO, USA. I’ve used Postman for one off tests and am starting a project for fully automated testing of a client-facing RESTful API. I’m glad there’s community support here. Nice to “meet“ you all and happy holidays!
