How to send the execution status to a new test cycle using Zephyr in Newman ?

I have the same issue.
One of the ways that this could be achieved is with a custom reporter which pushes the information from Newman to Zephyr - I don’t think that one has been created though. 
There are plenty of similar reporters created for different products that might give you an idea of how you could build your own.
