How do I configure actions within a flow to run locally?

Hi all !
I’m trying to understand Postman Flows. What it is, what it isn’t, what it does and doesn’t.

From this page, I understand that this is a paid feature to fully use it but I also understand that I can run actions locally. However there’s also a message telling me about a number of free runs remaining in my plan in the GUI.

All plans can run actions locally. The Flows add-on is required to deploy actions in the cloud.

I’ve searched how to run actions locally but couldn’t find the information anywhere.

Am I correct thinking that I can run the flow locally ? If so, how do I do and why do I have a message about limited number of runs ?

Hi @enothibault

Welcome to the forums!

You can run an Action locally 50 times per month, hitting the orange run button will run it locally. You need a paid add on to hit the deploy button which will give you a URL so that it can be run on the cloud. With a paid add on you will also no longer be limited to 50 runs per month.

Let me know if there’s anything else I can help clarify!

Hi @flows-daniel, thank you for your response

I misunderstood the docs, I didn’t think running the actions locally would be a paid feature. Thank you for clarifying
