Help needed with starting

Ok, I have never used an API before and I have project i want to work on. I have a booking system I work with and a Voip solution and i want to link the client data from the booking system to the voip solution so the name displays.

I have API instructions for my VOip provider and a API key but cannot get this first part to work can anyone help me?

How do you currently have the request structured? Is this giving you an error message when you send the request?
