Dear community,
I’m posting this feedback thread regarding the login system for the desktop app. Particular the way you can login using google +.
In most apps, when you choose to sign up using google + / Facebook, etc. You’ll be promted with a popup on your screen. Following this screen you can safely login using your cookie/sessions or even use your passwordmanager without ever typing in your credentials.
However, this is not possible with postman DESKTOP. Why not? Why can’t I use my password manager? Because they’re not using a pop-up. I have to manually type in my google credentials in order to log in with it.
So therefor my suggestion: Implement the pop-up, just like every other website or app in existence, for a faster and a more user friendly experience.
