Postman desktop client 11.58.5 broke oauth2 authorization redirect - completely broken

was working until this friday night/sat morning . 11.58.5 was auto installed.
authentication (oauth2) code redirect hangs . doesnt redeem code for token.
basically the “auth” option to authenticate completely broken.
I installed 11.58.0 and everything works as usual.
But postman auto update to latest, greatest automatically. So the solution (old version) is not sustainable

This has been raised a couple of times now and we have acknowledged it.

This team is working to resolve this issue.

Hi all. I apologize that you’re experiencing this. The team is working hard on a fix as we speak. This should be resolved soon, and you’ll continue to use the OAuth flow as usual.
