We had an incredible time with the Ministry of Testing Community at TestBash Brighton last week! With myself, @danny-dainton, and @marine-postman present in person. The testing community’s energy and enthusiasm were unmatched, and it was great connecting with the community.
This year, we tried something new: silent disco workshops right at our booth. With two rows of chairs and wireless headsets, attendees could follow along in an otherwise noisy sponsor hall!
Across six packed sessions, testers got hands-on with some exciting Postman features, including:
pm.execution.runRequest()- Importing packages from external registries(npm & jsr)
- The new variable experience
- Logging in via the Postman CLI
Each short workshop walked through manual testing, chaining requests, contract and scenario testing, and running collections in different environments using the Collection Runner, CI/CD pipelines, and VS Code.
Thanks to everyone who joined, asked questions, and helped make our workshops such a success. The excitement around Postman’s testing capabilities was amazing to see, and we can’t wait to meet even more of you at future events! ![]()
If you have any questions around any of these features, please leave a comment and we’ll be happy to chat about it!
