Hi everyone, @rosa-collier and I will be leading the Mastering Collaborative API Development workshop at POST/CON 25.

If you work with APIs as part of a team, you know how challenging it can be to keep workflows organized, maintain clear documentation, and avoid version conflicts. In this workshop, we’ll solve real-world collaboration challenges using Postman workspaces and collections.

What we’ll cover:

  • How to discover, document, and test APIs in a shared workspace
  • Best practices for forking, merging, and version control in Postman
  • Automating functional tests with Collection Runner
  • Hands-on exercises where you’ll work through API challenges in a demo workspace

Who should attend?
Ideal for teams that collaborate on API development and want to streamline their workflow. No advanced Postman experience required—just a basic understanding of APIs.

Regardless of your persona and/or job function (developer, QA, product owner, architect) if you are working with APIs you are part of the “API Economy” this workshop is a great intro! In your API journey you will be faced with three major concerns: development, distribution (make sure others discover and USE your API), and composition (working with several APIs in your projects). We can help you get started an all of these!!
