I’m having this problem too. To quote precisely:

write EPROTO 4534177280:error:1408F10B:SSL             
                routines:ssl3_get_record:wrong version                 
                number:../deps/openssl/openssl/ssl/record/ssl3_record… 
                at request                                             
                inside "Create Participant Demo / Create User Session"

Aaaand fixed it! Changed https to http. We don’t need https on localhost.
