Initial value of the variable does not update and I can't use the current value of the variable with mock server

have problems with variables in the initial value I can’t, I’m using the simulated server I can save the value in the initial value of the variation, I use the pre script:
pm.environment.set(‘currencyQuote’, codeData[sourceCode].quote); and it never returns the value that was set and the answer in this field has an empty initial value.
