So no news on this? I’m also interested hiding folders and requests form documentation. I need function because not all request in documentation are yet totally ready or the requests are only for own use.
I need this because in the collection, there are mostly public functions to be documented, but a handful of administrative functions that are only used in house and need excluding from the public documentation.

For some clarity, this is a ongoing thread, over the course of many years that should have been directed out to our issue tracker.
Tracking product issues and feature requests over multiple platforms is tough and messages get lost over time so having a central place is the preferred option.
I’m going to close this topic and ask that you add your comments to the Github Issue mentioned above.
