Can anyone help with syntax to filter api get results to only pull the previous 7 days?

Unfortunately, there is not enough information and context for anyone to even begin to provide a solution. 
Which API are you using? Are you following some documentation? Do you know that the endpoint has been implemented with the ability to filter the responses in that way?
Depending on the response, you could create a script which would filter the response body and show those results in the Postman console but that would also mean that you would need to provide that information so that we can see the structure.
