Can I export my Web API in JSON format to be used in Swagger OpenAPI

Hi I’m a Postman noob so no shouty answers please.

I’ve successfully written a WS API. I need to store the API ‘definition’ in a JSON format file, stored / source controlled in SVN. From here I want to read the file from Swaggger OpenAPI in confluence.

I would have expected a nice Export facility however I cannot see one! Maybe its there and I cannot see it!!

Hey there @matspring !

I found this article which breaks down the process into 2 steps:

• export from postman (into json)
• take json and convert to openAPI standard
• import the new openAPI compliant collection into Swagger.
