Kitty Garrison is a dynamic Quality Engineer with a rich 9-year career journey that began with a JavaScript Apprenticeship. Specializing in test automation design and implementation, Kitty has developed a deep understanding of software development and quality assurance, complemented by her creative problem-solving skills.

In her career, Kitty has skillfully crafted automation frameworks and led software testing advancements, embodying her curious approach as a Quality Engineer. As an 'aspiring robot overlord,’ she continuously seeks new ways to offload the grunt work of routine tasks to unsuspecting technologies.

Some of Kitty’s recent contributions that she is most proud of include her role as co-lead for her company’s queer Employee Resource Group (ERG), leading two role-specific meetups, and playing a pivotal role in the launch of a national brand. These experiences stand out as invaluable learning opportunities that leveled up her leadership and project management while highlighting the profound impact that diverse and inclusive workplace can create an environment of belonging.

Outside of work, Kitty enjoys Michigan’s summers with her family, exploring freshwater and forests, and winters learning new skills like plumbing and electrical work for her ongoing home renovation projects. In her downtime, Kitty relaxes on her super-couch with her four cats, listening to DnD podcasts, and playing Sudoku or making art with Procreate.
