Before every deploy, I always verify my environment variables and run a quick Postman smoke test on the critical endpoints. Most production issues I’ve seen come from tiny config mistakes, so this last check gives me full confidence before I hit deploy.
before deploy, i check for the health and performance of my APIs to make sure it is optimal. And the last thing i also check is not committing the .env keys to production and everything runs smoothly with all tests passing.
