# Unable to verify the first certificate

_My question_: We have an api endpoint (https) which when tried from postman, we get response but we see an error which says " Unable to verify the first certificate ". Same API endpoint when open in chrome/edge browser , we see no issue with certificate and its shows valid. Can you explain why its showing invalid in postman?

_How I found the problem_: unit testing the apis

_I’ve already tried_: nothing so far.
