# The Problem of Not Inviting Friends to Workspace

I want to invite my friends to my personal workspace. When I enter my friend’s e-mail address and say “Add” and “Invite to team” respectively, it shows me the following error message: “Please add a user”. Although I have already added a user, I cannot proceed. Can you help me?

We’re closing out older posts with no replies to keep the community organized. The whole invite and onboarding experience has changed since this was raised 5 years ago. Any information for this issue would be outdated.
