As a product manager, I love using Postman. I can quickly test our APIs, create monitors, and nice looking documentation. When we were deciding what tool to use for documenting our APIs, we considered several that had much better presentations, were more flexible in the design and offered better reporting. We chose Postman because out of the box it looked good and did provide a monthly page view count, which is all we really needed to measure usage.
Unfortunately, Postman has decided to remove the one metric we need and instead is pushing us to the business/enterprise licensing. This blows. I don’t like being forced into an upsell.
Ultimately, this means we will have to leave Postman for a competitive solution that provides the metric we need. Nice job.
