# Default collection's environment auto-selected

# Issue

Imagine current data:

- environment E1
- environment E2
- environment E3
- collection C with E1 and E2 as pinned environment, E2 being the default one

Current behavior:

- select environment E3
- open a request of collection C
- **environment E2 is selected**

Expected behavior:

- select environment E3
- open a request of collection C
- **environment is not changed**

My expectation about the “pinned environments” is that they are at the top of the list when selecting an environment, so it’s easy to pick one of them. But I don’t expect the default environment to be automatically selected when I open a request.

Do we agree this is a bug, not a new feature?
