# Can't sign into Destop app

I read the solution offered in here [Enter authorization token to sign into Postman](https://community.postman.com/t/enter-authorization-token-to-sign-into-postman/52539)  
but alas, I never get that “Great to have you” page - it just opens the web app page instead. I can’t find the authorisation token anywhere to put into the desktop app, which is what I need since I’m testing REST endpoints on my localhost. Anyone know what to do?
