You may have heard that to leverage APIs successfully, you need API governance. But it has a terrible reputation. People don’t like it. It’s complicated. It limits. It slows down. It’s expensive. And in the end, it doesn’t work. And it’s unfortunately true in some places. But what if the problem was not governance but misunderstanding? What exactly is API governance? Why do we need it? What is its real purpose? That’s what we’ll find out in this session. We’ll discover the true nature of API governance, how to make it work, and even maybe make people like it.
