Hi All,

I want to login on Postman on a remote desktop, but when the app redirects me to the login page I get a different page than on my own laptop.
I get [https://identity.eu.getpostman.com/login(...)](https://identity.eu.getpostman.com/login(...)), and on my own laptop I get [https://identity.getpostman.com/login(...)](https://identity.getpostman.com/login(...)).
Now the issue is that I cannot login on the remote desktop, it gives an error that my username or password is incorrect.
If I use the URL from my own laptop on the remote desktop, I can login but it doesn’t redirect me back to the app.
The authentication token doesn’t work also. The remote desktop is on the same network as I am, it is a VM on Hyper-V.
Am I missing something?

Hi @itsupportbring. Welcome to the Postman Community :postman_logo:.

If the desktop application and the browser you’re authenticating in are not on the same machine, then the redirection back to the app will not work.

The screen displayed on the Dekstop app after you’ve been redirected should have the option to enter an auth code manually. Ideally, you should see this auth code as an extra option on the browser window. If you copy and paste it into the application, you should be authenticated and logged in.

I have the app installed on the machine, but login in with the same credentials gives the error.
Also the authentication token isn’t working :')
Let me try again today…

I get the following message on my machine:

" Unauthorized request

The token you entered is incorrect. Try signing in again."

Really weird, I checked the token multiple times…
